Flatfee.je has been developed by local residents Dave Double and Dean De Mouilpied.
Having worked in the industry and having been through the process of selling and letting property in Jersey we know all too well how expensive the process has become.

For most of 2007, the demand for property far out stripped supply which helped to drive up property prices.  As property prices started to climb massively so did the amount of commission people paid to estate agents.  If property went up 20% so did the estate agents salary. The people losing out were quite clearly the people selling the property!

Our concept was simple - to bring buyers and sellers together direct, to help avoid expensive estate agency costs.  Using industry experience we designed a complex web based property marketing tool, and then tasked our designers with making it look and feel, simple and easy to use.  To aid this we have also written numerous guides in plain old English to help customers with every step of the sales process.

In today’s marketplace we believe customers want value for money but also want great customer service.  At Flatfee.je we can offer both.  We are here to help people sell their own property which means we can offer truly independent advice.  New customers can call us for valuations and existing customers can call for anything from negotiation tips to advice on getting their house ready to sell.  All without the stress and pressure of us wanting the commission!
